ANOVA: Testing for differences between treatments
The ANOVA menu gives 4 flexible parametric and non-parametric methods:
- 1 Way ANOVA - a one-way (single classification) Analysis of Variance; compare the means of three or more samples or treatments.
- 1 Way repeated measurement ANOVA - for analysis of series of measurements undertaken on the same subjects
- 2 Way ANOVA - test for differences where 2 factors are considered simultaneously.
- Kruskal-Wallis - one-way non-parametric test for equality of population medians among groups.
Multiple comparison tests (for instance Tukey and Bonferroni) allow you to compare individual treatments.
Use Expand and Explore to demonstrate the calculation from beginning to end.
